What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash). When you use the service we store your chatbot settings, the knowledge you add (FAQs, text, documents and web pages), the conversations visitors have with your chatbot, leads they submit, your team members, and a record of credits used and purchased.
Visitors to our customers’ websites
When a visitor chats with a chatbot we host, we store their messages, the page they chatted from and the referring page, their language, time zone, browser type and country code, a random visitor ID kept in their browser storage (no cookies), any rating, and any name, email, phone number or message they choose to give. We process this on behalf of our customer, who decides how it is used. Customers must tell their visitors about the chat in their own privacy policy.
AI and other service providers
To write an answer, the visitor’s question, recent messages and relevant parts of the knowledge base are sent to our AI provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or xAI). Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal; we never see your full card number. Email notifications are sent through our email provider.
Retention and your rights
Conversations are deleted automatically after the period set by us. You can delete conversations, leads, knowledge sources and chatbots at any time. Ask us to close your account to remove its chatbots, knowledge, conversations, leads and notices. We keep subscription, payment, order and credit records, and a usage log without chat content, as financial records. You can ask us for a copy of your data or for erasure; visitors can do the same using the email address they gave in a chat.
